About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer who combines strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of user experience, product thinking, and business objectives.
You will lead the end-to-end design process across multiple product areas, from discovery and research through wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final implementation. You'll be responsible for creating intuitive, scalable, and elegant experiences while helping establish and evolve our design systems and product design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design initiatives from concept to launch
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to uncover insights and validate solutions
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Design intuitive workflows that simplify complex operational processes
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and design standards
- Ensure consistency across web, mobile, and internal products
- Translate business requirements and customer needs into elegant design solutions
- Use data, user feedback, and experimentation to continuously improve product experiences
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders across the organization
- Contribute to the evolution of KNOT's design culture, processes, and best practices
- Mentor and support junior designers as the design team grows
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work across web and mobile applications
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and design thinking principles
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams and understanding technical constraints
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities
