Job Title:
Senior UI/UX Product Designer Blockchain & DeFi
1. Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UI/UX Product Designer to lead the design strategy and execution across multiple web applications in the blockchain and DeFi space. This is a product-focused rolenot graphic designand requires deep expertise in crafting functional, user-centered web and mobile interfaces. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to transform complex concepts into intuitive, elegant digital experiences that scale.
2. Key Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end product design processfrom user research, wireframing, and prototyping to high-fidelity UI and design hand-off.
- Design user-centric dashboards and web applications specifically for blockchain, crypto, and DeFi products.
- Create and evolve scalable design systems and reusable components using Figma.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure technical feasibility and design consistency.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily scrums to align on priorities and deliverables.
- Provide direction and feedback to junior designers to ensure high standards of visual and interaction design.
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging tools, especially in AI-assisted design workflows (e.g., Galileo, Uizard, Magician).
3. Communications & Working Relationships
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Engineers, QA, and Marketing.
- Works closely with the Head of Product to align design goals with product strategy.
- Liaises with external consultants or vendors when needed to extend UI/UX capabilities.
- Engages in frequent communication with end users or beta testers to gather feedback and iterate.
- Supports internal design reviews and actively participates in sprint retrospectives.
4. Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, focusing on web and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing real product work with user flows, dashboards, and applications.
- Advanced Figma skills including components, libraries, and auto-layouts.
- Deep knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first thinking, and UX best practices.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with developers.
- Experience in agile environments and sprint-based delivery.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for emerging tech and willingness to continuously learn and iterate.
Preferred / Bonus:
- Experience working in the Web3, Blockchain, or DeFi space.
- Understanding of self-custodial wallets, DAOs, staking, and dApps.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and localization/internationalization.
- Ability to export designs into HTML/CSS or assist in design QA.
- Experience with AI-powered design tools for rapid prototyping.
