Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing product strategy, translating business objectives and customer needs into scalable digital products and services. The role leads the full product lifecycle from discovery and prioritization to delivery and performance optimization while working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Business teams to maximize customer value and business impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Identify customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitive insights to shape product direction.
  • Develop business cases and success metrics for new product initiatives and major enhancements.
  • Product Discovery & Validation
  • Lead customer research, stakeholder workshops, and data analysis to validate problems and solution hypotheses.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on customer value, business impact, feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements and feature concepts.
  • Roadmap & Backlog Management
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Define epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery Leadership
  • Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, Architecture, and QA teams to deliver high-quality product releases.
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions across scope, timelines, technical constraints, and customer needs.
  • Ensure product increments meet agreed business outcomes and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, executives, and delivery teams.
  • Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and decisions effectively.
  • Build alignment and secure buy-in across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Define and track product KPIs, adoption metrics, and customer satisfaction indicators.
  • Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
  • Governance & Commercial Management
  • Manage product budgets, business cases, and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support go-to-market planning, launch readiness, and change management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, Digital Product Development, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and product discovery methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of customer journey mapping, experimentation, and MVP development.
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Certifications (Preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
