Role DescriptionGenerate demand and positioning for the commercial product portfolio through external messaging, campaigns, and customer-facing content that align to customer value drivers. The role covers commercial product marketing across the full portfolio — with a primary focus on commercial cards and merchant acceptance — working in partnership with both the commercial teams and the enterprise Marketing function.

As the single point of accountability for marketing across the Commercial department, the Senior Manager owns the end-to-end marketing agenda: marketing materials and collateral, go-to-market and paid campaigns, the product website and digital presence, customer-facing terms & conditions and application journeys, and the day-to-day relationship with the enterprise Marketing function to deliver all departmental marketing needs internal and external. 

Key Responsibilities:

Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop market-facing messaging and positioning for Corporate Cards, Business Card, CTA, vPay, and merchant acceptance.
  • Translate product value drivers into clear, differentiated propositions by segment.

Merchant Acceptance Marketing

  • Drive positioning, demand and engagement for merchant acceptance/acquiring solutions.
  • Support merchant acquisition, onboarding and retention with targeted campaigns and content.

Campaigns & Demand Generation

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and engagement across commercial segments.
  • Plan multi-channel and paid campaigns end-to-end, and report on results (leads, conversion).

Sales Enablement & Commercial Team Support

  • Enable commercial teams with sales materials, positioning tools, and competitive framing.
  • Manage segment-specific marketing initiatives in partnership with commercial teams.

Enterprise Marketing Partnership

  • Coordinate with the enterprise Marketing function on campaign execution and brand alignment.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all departmental marketing needs.

Website, Digital & Content

  • Update the product website and pages, keeping content and propositions accurate.
  • Coordinate landing pages, lead-capture journeys with the digital team.

Documentation, T&Cs & Applications

  • Own customer-facing T&Cs, keeping them current and compliant.
  • Manage products documents and onboarding journeys, optimised for completion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6–8 years of marketing experience, including at least 3–5 years in cards and/or merchant acceptance (acquiring) within financial services, payments, banking, or fintech, and prior experience at manager level or above
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA or Master's in Marketing) is preferred.
  • Strong market research skills, including customer insights, competitive analysis, and market segmentation.
  • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, including product launches, positioning, and messaging.
  • Background in product marketing and product management, ideally within financial services or payments.
  • Ability to work effectively with sales teams, supporting sales enablement, pipeline growth, and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to guide decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
