About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of innovative digital products within the fintech, banking, or telecommunications domain. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful product execution in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, own, and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Gather, observe, and analyze end-user requirements through research, feedback, and data insights
- Create, manage, and continuously prioritize the product backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure product features meet readiness and quality standards
- Write clear and detailed product specifications and user stories
- Review and accept delivered functionality, ensuring it meets business and user expectations
- Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements
- Provide continuous feedback to designers, developers, and other team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective release planning and delivery timelines
- Track and measure product performance and development progress using KPIs and metrics
- Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-team impacts, and proactively manage them
Team & Leadership Responsibilities
- Coach and guide developers and designers with clear product direction and recommendations
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration
- Promote transparency, trust, and open communication across teams
- Support self-organizing teams and encourage strong team spirit
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, product quality, and team performance
- Make informed decisions in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Software Developer, Architect, or UX Designer
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the Product Owner role
- Strong experience in product backlog management and prioritization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
- Proven experience as a Product Owner with a successful track record of product delivery
- Experience in fintech, banking, or telecommunications industries
- Familiarity with digital products, APIs, mobile/web platforms, or financial systems
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams
