Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across paint manufacturing operations.
- Conduct continuous risk assessments for production processes (mixing, dispersion, filling, raw material handling) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Prepare and manage daily and weekly production plans to meet production targets and customer delivery timelines.
- Monitor and optimize production rates of mixers, dispersers, mills, and filling machines to maximize efficiency and equipment utilization.
- Reduce waste across production processes, including raw materials, downtime, rework, energy, and off-spec batches.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to set departmental objectives and KPIs (output, yield, OEE, cycle time).
- Ensure consistent product quality in line with approved formulations, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop production team capabilities through continuous training and coaching.
- Analyze and resolve operational issues using structured problem-solving tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.).
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports highlighting performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and process optimization projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Proven experience in a paint manufacturing or related industrial environment is highly preferred.
