Position Overview:
We at Takamul PM are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project controls, with extensive experience working on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. This role will be instrumental in supporting project management teams, ensuring effective project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management on high-profile construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate with project teams to define project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Analyze project progress and prepare regular reports on schedule performance, delays, and corrective actions

Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Establish project budgets and ensure that costs are effectively controlled and monitored.
- Perform regular cost forecasting and variance analysis to track budget performance.
- Support the project manager in cost reporting and ensure that project expenditures remain within the approved budget.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and track project risks, including potential impacts to cost, schedule, and scope.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
- Conduct risk reviews and update risk management plans as required.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present project control reports for senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
- Maintain detailed project control documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead project control meetings to discuss progress, issues, and corrective actions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project controls are aligned with project objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to junior project controls team members.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that project control processes comply with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
- Implement best practices in project controls and continuously seek ways to improve project control processes.
Requirements:
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or consultancy firm.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale, complex construction projects, with a strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and its specific regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project control software.
- In-depth knowledge of project cost control, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
