The project:

This portfolio comprises projects either directly managed by the client team or delivered by leading third-party developers under the client's leadership. It includes a diverse range of projects, spanning new construction, master planning schemes, and executive fit-out works.

Supervise the delivery of PMO and project control services across assigned commissions, guiding implementation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Supports team development within the centre of excellence and hub, aligning activity with Mace strategy and performance frameworks.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing Safety First, ensuring well-being, compliance, and sustainable delivery.

  • Driving client-focused outcomes through strategic direction, service excellence, and industry engagement.

  • Upholding integrity and shaping long-term strategy and accountability for people, planet, and performance.

  • Mentoring and developing teams, fostering innovation, talent growth, and opportunity to excel.

  • Directing PMO and project controls performance, designing frameworks, and managing delivery across commissions.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships, and providing subject matter expertise.

  • Driving governance, reporting, baselines, risk analysis, and compliance to achieve objectives.

  • Mentoring teams, supporting resourcing, and championing innovation and net zero transition.

  • Delivering executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing packs for senior leadership.

You'll need to have:

  • Chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE.

  • Proven PMO and project controls leadership on major programmes.

  • Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management expertise.

  • Knowledge of sustainability, risk tools, and project frameworks.

  • Experience in cross-entity coordination and public sector performance frameworks (preferred).
