Our client is a UAE-based leader in steel piping solutions, serving the oil & gas, petrochemical and power industries worldwide. Renowned for delivering large-scale projects with quality, reliability and industry-leading expertise, the company supports complex projects across multiple regions.

Role Summary

The Senior Project Coordinator Operations will manage end-to-end project execution by coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and customers. The role ensures timely and accurate delivery of projects within the Oil & Gas sector, requiring strong planning, follow-up and stakeholder management skills to meet operational and contractual commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage project orders from kick-off through delivery and closure.
  • Plan project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules in line with contractual SLAs.
  • Liaise with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues affecting delivery timelines.
  • Ensure accurate ERP system updates, order closures, and timely submission of PODs.
  • Prepare and maintain project and order status reports, delivery forecasts and expediting updates.
  • Support customer communication and resolve operational or project-related issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  • Monitor supply chain and order progress to track on-time delivery.
  • Resolve issues related to quality, technical matters, logistics, procurement and suppliercustomer coordination.
  • Undertake business travel as required to support project execution.

Requirements

  • 510 years of experience in project coordination or project operations within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Supply chain experience in construction, oil & gas, energy or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, logistics and operational workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, MS Office, email and expediting/tracking tools.
  • Licenses & Certifications such as Supply Chain, PMP or project management diplomas; UAE driving license preferred.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear written and spoken English; Arabic language proficiency preferred.
