Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
the Senior Project Delivery Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery of security technology projects, coordinating customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards. The role also involves managing risks, resolving challenges, and continuously improving project delivery processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning & Delivery
Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned security technology projects from initiation through final handover and closure.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Establish clear project objectives, scope, responsibilities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate project activities across engineering, software, infrastructure, procurement, operations, and field teams.
Ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed scope, schedule, quality, and customer requirements.
Monitor project progress and take proactive corrective actions when delays, issues, or deviations are identified.
Ensure effective coordination between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and technology partners.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a primary delivery point of contact for customers and key project stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, consultants,
contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates on progress, issues, risks, and
upcoming activities.
• Understand customer requirements and ensure they are translated into actionable project
deliverables.
• Manage customer expectations and coordinate responses to technical, operational, and
delivery-related concerns.
• Support project demonstrations, site meetings, acceptance activities, and customer signoffs.
• Ensure all customer commitments are tracked and managed throughout the project
lifecycle.
Project Governance & Control
• Establish appropriate project governance, reporting structures, communication plans, and
documentation.
• Maintain project trackers covering scope, schedule, risks, issues, actions, dependencies,
and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance against approved plans and agreed key performance
indicators.
• Prepare regular project status reports, management updates, dashboards, and delivery
summaries.
• Maintain accurate records of project decisions, approvals, changes, meeting minutes, and
action items.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle and is available
for audit and handover.
• Escalate critical issues and decisions to management in a timely manner with clear
recommendations and supporting information.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain project risk and issue registers and ensure appropriate owners and actions are
assigned.
• Proactively identify dependencies and potential delivery constraints before they impact
project milestones.
• Manage project changes and assess their impact on scope, schedule, resources, quality,
and cost.
• Coordinate change requests, approvals, and implementation with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for delayed or at-risk activities.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and incorporated into future projects and delivery
processes.
Technical & Implementation Coordination
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure project requirements are clearly
understood and implemented.
• Support the integration and deployment of security systems including CCTV, intruder
alarm, monitoring platforms, edge devices, networking, and related technologies.
• Coordinate site readiness, equipment delivery, installation, configuration, testing,
commissioning, and acceptance activities.
• Ensure technical dependencies between hardware, software, networking, infrastructure,
and third-party systems are identified and managed.
• Coordinate technical testing, integration testing, system validation, demonstrations, and
user acceptance activities.
• Work with technical teams to resolve implementation issues and ensure timely closure of
technical defects.
• Ensure deployed solutions meet approved technical specifications and project
requirements.
Procurement, Vendors & Resources
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure materials, equipment, licenses, and
services are available according to project requirements and schedule.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance against agreed deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate logistics, equipment delivery, site access, installation resources, and project
manpower requirements.
• Identify resource constraints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with
management.
• Support vendor evaluation and technical/commercial coordination where required.
• Ensure project materials and resources are properly planned to avoid unnecessary delays
or site disruptions.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
• Lead the coordination of system testing, commissioning, site acceptance, and project
completion activities.
• Ensure testing plans, test results, punch lists, and acceptance documentation are properly
maintained.
• Coordinate resolution and closure of outstanding defects and site observations.
• Ensure all required technical documentation, as-built information, manuals, configurations,
and training materials are prepared for handover.
• Coordinate customer acceptance and formal project handover.
• Ensure project closure activities are completed, including documentation, lessons learned,
final acceptance, and transition to operations or support teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with engineering, software, infrastructure and security, R&D, quality control,
procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve cross-functional dependencies and delivery
challenges.
• Support technical and business teams in translating customer requirements into practical
implementation plans.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across project teams.
• Mentor and guide project coordinators and junior delivery team members on project
management and delivery best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of UXE project delivery methodologies, templates,
processes, and standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management,
Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in project management, project delivery, system
integration, technology implementation, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end technology or security system projects.
• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk
management, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams, vendors, subcontractors, and
customers.
• Strong understanding of system implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and
handover processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders
simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project documentation, reporting, change control, issue tracking,
and project governance.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project,
Jira, Microsoft Teams, Excel, or equivalent platforms.
• Bilingual (Fluent in Arabic & English, Written & Spoken)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technology and security environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience in the security systems industry, including CCTV, video management systems,
intruder alarm, access control, IoT, or command and control platforms.
• Experience delivering projects for government, police, critical infrastructure, healthcare,
commercial, or large enterprise customers.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality management, acceptance testing, commissioning, and operational
handover processes.
Experience working with local authorities, consultants, system integrators, and regulatory
stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UAE project delivery practices and customer environments is an advantage.
