Job Purpose:
Support the execution of projects by coordinating technical deliverables, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and standards. The Senior Project Engineer acts as a focal point for cross-functional coordination, provides advanced technical input, and supports the Project Section Head and Project Manager in ensuring smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and review of technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, technical submittals).
- Monitor project execution, highlighting risks and deviations to the Section Head/Project Manager.
- Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Participate in inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and customer approvals.
- Collaborate with design, production, procurement, and quality teams to resolve project-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, IEEE, and customer-specific standards.
- Maintain accurate project records and prepare regular status updates.
- Mentor and support junior engineers on technical tasks and project documentation.
Qualification & Education:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management within the power, energy, or heavy electrical equipment sector.
