Role Purpose
To lead plumbing engineering coordination on assigned Innovo MEP projects, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring plumbing deliverables meet specification and programme requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Technical Leadership
- Lead review of plumbing shop drawings, submittals, and method statements.
- Provide technical direction on water supply, drainage, and fire fighting plumbing systems design intent.
- Coordination
- Lead plumbing coordination with other disciplines and resolve complex clashes.
- Coordinate plumbing shop drawings with consultants and obtain approvals prior to procurement.
- Mentoring
- Mentor Project Engineers (Plumbing) on technical matters.
- Review junior engineers submittals and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Quality & Commissioning
- Oversee plumbing installation quality checks and witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Review plumbing snagging and ensure timely closure prior to handover.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain plumbing technical submittal and approval registers for assigned projects.
- Report plumbing engineering progress and technical issues to the Technical Manager.
- Innovation & Value Creation
- Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
- Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6–8 years of plumbing MEP project engineering experience
- UAE/GCC project experience preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements
