Qualification (minimum)
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience (minimum)
. Minimum 10 years GCC experience with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas sector
Job Description
. Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
. Coordinate and control project execution across all phases ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
. Review and monitor project schedules, milestones, and progress, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
. Manage tendering activities including ITT documentation, contractor evaluation, and contract finalisation.
. Ensure quality and compliance of engineering deliverables (PFD, P&ID, drawings, specifications).
. Coordinate materials management and logistics, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project requirements.
. Lead and facilitate technical meetings, workshops, and design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
. Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and resource utilisation for optimal performance.
. Utilize Primavera/planning tools and project databases to track progress, risks, and performance metrics.
Skills
. Knowledge of project lifecycle, ageing & engineering sequence
. Experience in tendering and ITT documentation
. Understanding of materials of construction (MOC)
. Familiar with PFD, P&ID and key engineering deliverables
. Ability to lead project meetings and workshops
. Experience in Primavera/planning tools and advanced Excel
. Knowledge of construction work packs and execution flow
. Strong coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction
