The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

The role is delivery-focused and will be responsible for overseeing multiple building and operational asset packages, ensuring the successful execution of contractor activities, programme milestones, quality requirements, commercial objectives and operational readiness. The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between stakeholders, consultants, contractors and project teams to drive delivery excellence throughout the remaining lifecycle of the works.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead the delivery of assigned assets through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all package-related delivery matters.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress against programme milestones and take proactive action to mitigate delays.
  • Drive contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Review and manage project risks, opportunities and key dependencies.
  • Ensure quality, safety and compliance standards are achieved throughout delivery.
  • Interface with project controls, commercial and technical teams to ensure alignment across the wider programme.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular reporting on progress, issues and mitigation plans.
  • Chair progress meetings, workshops and package review sessions.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning and operational readiness activities.
  • Support the successful handover of assets to operations and end users.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations and delivery updates.

You'll Need To Have

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven track record managing complex building, infrastructure, hospitality, commercial or operational asset packages during the construction phase.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, commercial management and risk management.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders within a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership and reporting skills.
  • Experience within a PMC, client-side, Delivery Partner or programme management environment is preferred.
  • Professional accreditation such as PMP, MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
