The Real Estate & Developments Division is responsible for the development and delivery of operational for the real estate projects at Expo City Dubai. The team is responsible for implementing the development strategy for Expo City Dubai and works with variety of stakeholders from the master planning phase, through design and construction, to ensure the delivery of large-scale construction projects.
The Senior Project Manager – Expo Hills purpose is to lead and manage the processes associated with delivering of Real Estate capital works building projects to the requisite Health and Safety, Time, Cost and Quality standards, Provide Leadership and decisive direction for the delivery function of the Project, across the various project functions including but not limited to risk, change, reporting, environment and sustainability.
The main responsibility for this role include:
The Senior Project Manager should actively manage and hold day to day responsibility for the execution of various building projects, including residential, commercial, hospitality and community facilities, and delivery of the associated works in accordance with the design and brief requirements and the defined project objectives including performance, schedule and control of cost to the project budget. The Senior Project Manager must be able to contribute and be experienced in all aspects of the project management as it relates to successful project delivery.
Full participation in:
- Pre-contract strategic planning of the project, including interfaces, logistics
- Tendering activities including development of tender documentation, tender evaluation and providing technical clarification where required.
- Projects execution, commissioning and handover
Manage and monitor all aspects of the projects delivery including;
- Risk management; developing and maintain project risk registers, reporting to senior management
- Logistics management; planning the access for the works, coordinating with other project teams , ongoing management of project interfaces
- Safety management; providing safety leadership and support, chairing and leading site leadership tours, following up on incidents and improvement actions with consultants and contractors.
- Quality management; ensuring that quality of the works are being monitored, requisite actions are being taken for any deficiencies in the consultant or contractors design team, inputting into improvement actions plan and ensuring its implementation
- Project execution, including managing the delivery according to the defined project schedule, managing all related construction interfaces on the site, managing site-based risks and issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including authorities;
- Managing supervision consultant's performance and activities in line with contracted obligations, ensuring appropriate personnel are engaged by the consultant;
- MEP management including commissioning planning and interface with third party commissioning agent, and managing the handover process for all MEP systems to end users;
- Authorities stakeholders reviews, inspection and approvals requirements
- Environmental/sustainability management.
- Ensuring timely and accurate project reporting to senior management and other stakeholders as required;
- Seeking continuous improvement of processes and procedures throughout the project execution.
People management;

Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills required:
Essential
8+ years of professional experience and in progressive project management roles preferred as well as:
- BS degree in a project management or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS)
- Excellent knowledge of Construction Projects legal frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of key project processes.
- Excellent communication skills and client understanding.
- Experience in coordinating multiple parties.
- Ability to meet deadlines, no exceptions – Completer Finisher attributes.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and also to support mediation discussions.
