We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of hyperscale, mission-critical data center projects from design through commissioning and handover. The role will take full ownership of project execution, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, quality standards, and risk parameters while managing multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, MEP, and ICT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of hyperscale data center projects, from design through to commissioning and final handover.
- Develop and implement execution strategies, phasing plans, and master schedules aligned with project objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Establish and manage baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Perform delay analysis, develop recovery plans, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify critical dependencies and proactively manage project constraints to avoid delays.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across Civil, MEP, ICT, and Commissioning functions.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support commercial activities including claims management, RFIs, and change control processes.
- Oversee all levels of Testing and Commissioning (Level 1 to Level 5), ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Ensure successful integrated systems testing and seamless project handover to operations.
- Drive completion of all technical documentation and ensure full operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate project dashboards, progress reports, and performance tracking systems.
- Present clear and structured updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, governance frameworks, and delivery standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of project management experience, with strong exposure to data center or mission-critical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects from initiation to handover.
- Strong expertise in project scheduling, delay analysis, and recovery planning using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of data center delivery risks, constraints, and industry best practices.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE PSP are preferred; knowledge of Uptime Institute and ASHRAE standards is an advantage.
