Job Responsibilities:
Pre-Contracting:
Accountable for validating the proposal's scope, estimates, delivery approach, assumptions, developing high level schedule, and payment milestones, participates in risk treatment and contingency calculation.
Project Delivery:
Accountable for delivering profitable projects with satisfied customers, by implementing proper Project Management practices across the whole lifecycle of the project.
- Conducts proper study of all pre-contracting documents, to understand the scope and commitments, identifies mistakes or misalignments as early as possible.
- Coordinates with the practice manager(s) to staff the project with the needed resources,
- Coordinates with the procurement and inventory teams to assure proper delivery of the procured items on time.
- Coordinates with relevant Tech Leads, Architect, Practice Managers, Customer to develop realistic project plans, and get it approved by the project board and the customer,
- Kick off the project with the internal team and with the customer.
- Coordinates the day-to-day activities as planned, and acts as single point of contact for the customer, internal and external stakeholders.
- Adheres to the corporate practices and assures proper implementation of the engineering practices, such as requirement, design, testing, delivery, inspection, acceptance, change, and configuration management.
- Tracks the project's controls; scope, schedule, quality, resources, procurement, cost, revenue and invoicing, LGs, risks and change requests,
- Oversights the project's progress with the team and suppliers, takes the corrective or preventive actions to assure that project is on track.
- reports the project's progress to the project board and to the customer; either event or time based (according to the project's plan).
- Early alerting and escalating issues and risks that needs higher authority, to the project's sponsor, senior management and customer (when needed).
- Handles the project's formal documentations and evidence, such as plans, change requests, delivery notes, inspection, acceptance certificates, training, handover, and closure,
Post Project:
- Leads the project closure activities, handover to support, evaluate the project's team according to the performance evaluation process, archive project's artifacts, etc.
- Participates in preparing the Project's Lessons Learned report and conducting the closure meetings.
Job Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience as Network & Security project manager.
- Experience in managing Governmental projects is a plus.
- PMP certified is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
