Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Project Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of complex software projects within the fintech domain. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience managing projects in the Saudi market and a technical background in modern development frameworks. This role requires excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams and successful project execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management
Lead end-to-end software project deliveryfrom planning and requirements gathering to development, deployment, and post-launch supportensuring alignment with fintech industry standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Regulatory Engagement
Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Participate in regulatory meetings and follow-up discussions related to licensing and compliance.
Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging hands-on knowledge of .NET and Angular technologies.
- Reporting & Documentation
Prepare detailed project documentation, progress updates, KPIs, resource utilization reports, and board-level presentations. Lead project review meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Risk, Budget, and Timeline Management
Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful delivery of all project phases.
- Executive & Strategic Support
Act as a Project Manager and PMO representative, reporting directly to the CEO. Support executive leadership in aligning project outcomes with strategic goals and driving execution across departments.
Oversee the release of web and mobile applications, including core components of the debt crowdfunding platform such as the homepage and landing page.
- Team Building & Talent Acquisition
Contribute to the recruitment of full-time, part-time, and freelance staff across departments including Marketing, Finance, Risk, AML, Credit, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Technology, UX/UI, and Content.
Act as the single point of contact for identifying, contracting, and managing vendors across functions such as Open Banking, Digital Signature, Cloud Infrastructure, AML/KYC, Fraud & Risk, Cybersecurity (SOC, SIEM, Firewall, PT/VA), and Customer Service systems.
- Process & Policy Development
Collaborate with teams to design and implement internal policies and operational processes that meet regulatory and business requirements.
Job Requirements
- 35 years of proven experience in software project management within fintech companies.
- Experience in the Saudi market is a must.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi fintech industry.
- Solid exposure to programming environments and frameworks such as .NET and Angular; prior hands-on coding experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success managing software development projects in the Saudi market.
- Has experience launching companies with the Saudi Central Bank and is familiar with their procedures and requirements.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
