Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for translating enterprise strategy into a governed portfolio of ServiceNow initiatives that deliver measurable business value, operational resilience, and scalable digital capability. The role provides executive oversight across programs, ensuring investments are prioritized against strategic outcomes, risks are actively managed, and expected benefits are realized beyond technical deployment. Acting as the bridge between senior leadership, platform owners, and delivery teams, the executive drives alignment, funding discipline, adoption, and organizational readiness while championing standards, architecture integrity, and continual improvement of the ServiceNow ecosystem. Success is defined not by project completion, but by sustained value creation, stakeholder confidence, and the platform's contribution to business transformation.

Job Description

Program Management

  • Set program vision and objectives, translate enterprise strategy into clear, measurable outcomes for the program.
  • Own benefits realization, ensure the program delivers the business value it promised, not just outputs or milestones.
  • Provide governance and oversight, establish decision forums, controls, escalation paths, and assurance mechanisms.
  • Secure funding and manage financial performance, obtain budget, track spend, and make trade-offs to stay within investment guardrails.
  • Align stakeholders at the executive level, manage expectations across sponsors, business units, regulators, and partners.
  • Prioritize initiatives within the program, decide what gets accelerated, delayed or stopped based on strategy and capacity.
  • Sponsor and empower program leadership, appoint program managers, remove obstacles, and hold them accountable.
  • Manage enterprise risk, maintain visibility of systemic risks, interdependencies, and external impacts.
  • Drive organizational change, ensure adoption, readiness, communications, and capability uplift.
  • Report outcomes to executive leadership or the board, provide transparent status on value, risk, and return on investment.

Strategic Alignment

  • Translate corporate strategy into executable programs and project portfolios.
  • Ensure initiatives are prioritized based on strategic value, risk, and return.
  • Validate business cases and confirm expected benefits are realistic and measurable.
  • Adjust portfolio direction as organizational priorities change.

Governance and Oversight

  • Establish and enforce project and program governance frameworks.
  • Chair or participate in steering committees.
  • Provide executive decision support and remove organizational blockers.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Benefits and Value Realization

  • Own realization of promised outcomes, not just delivery milestones.
  • Track KPIs, ROI, adoption, and operational impact post-implementation.
  • Intervene if benefits are at risk.

Financial Stewardship

  • Support approvals and monitor budgets across the portfolio.
  • Balance investment allocation vs. strategic importance.
  • Ensure cost discipline and transparent reporting.

Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the bridge between senior leadership and delivery teams.
  • Manage expectations at C-suite/ board level.
  • Build alignment across business units.

Risk and Issue Leadership

  • Maintain visibility of enterprise-level risks.
  • Drive mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate when trade-offs are required.

Capability and Delivery Excellence

  • Sponsor adoption of standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop organizational project/ program maturity.
  • Mentor program and project leaders.

Change Management and Adoption

  • Ensure organizational readiness.
  • Champion changes at the executive level.
  • Coach business leaders on their role in driving sustainable adoption.

Compliance

Comply with any filing requirements imposed by local governing authorities.

Comply with all tax reporting and payment requirements.

Comply with the group guidelines.

Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls and risk management strategies.

Comply with the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 requirements and actively participate in regular training and audits to ensure continuous alignment with the standard.

Job Specification

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or any related field
  • Master's degree in any related is preferred

Professional Certifications

  • Certified ServiceNow Professional Implementor
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ITIL or equivalent certifications (preferred)

Knowledge

  • Deep ServiceNow knowledge is required, with hands-on experience in ITSM (Incident, Problem, and Change Management), CMDB, and Service Catalog. Experience working within a ServiceNow CoE model is an added advantage.
  • Experience operating within a ServieNow CoE/ CoEI model, including governance, demand prioritization, and platform standards alignment is also preferred.
  • Agile SAFe
  • Knowledge and experience across multiple technology platforms, including on-prem and private cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc...) is a plus.
  • SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, OneNote
  • Planning tools, MS Project, Jira, Agile, Digital, Transformation
