To ensure the successful completion of the assigned strategic or complex projects in terms of budget, time & scope successfully with customer satisfaction and in accordance with the bank's regulations and compliance policies.
- Handle assigned strategic / complex projects from planning phase to closure phase in order ensure the successful completion of each phase in terms of quality, cost, time and scope
- Define resources, deliverables, goals, and milestones to ensure accurate IT resources capacity planning
- Follow Project management / BRM process for project initiation and participate effectively in the project charter creation with the BRM team
- Apply set strategies for risks mitigation and create project risk management plans to ensure having budget that cover the agreed upon risks responses
- Manage and oversee the project's team and resolve project conflicts to ensure a smooth operating environment and avoid delays in the project timelines
- Identify and share efficiently in resolving the project technical issues to achieve the project goals within the agreed budget and timeline and up to defined quality standards
- Ensure proper issue resolution actions are taken, and relevant escalations are being done whenever required
- Prepare the status reports to be submitted to stakeholders & ensure the Senior Management awareness of the project progress and recommend solutions for the Managements checking and approvals
- Keep track and file the technical and administrative project documentation for the accurate tracking of the project and build the organization's knowledge base through the Projects lessons learnt
- Ensure the project goals are aligned with overall organization objectives
- Manage the relationships with external parties (i.e. Vendors) to ensure healthy relationship between vendors and internal stakeholders is maintained
- Ensure project governance methodology is properly applied across the project as defined by the PMO
- Conduct Post implementation reviews for selected projects based on SOPs and analyse the findings and provide recommendations to program manager.
Requirements
- PMP certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, commerce or related field
- Master's degree is an asset
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience
- Banking experience is an asset
