Senior Projects Engineer

Power House Egypt is hiring a Sr. Projects Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead projects end to end: initiation, planning, execution, and closure per company SOPs.

- Review and approve technical and project documents: charters, execution plans, baseline schedules, risk registers, QA/QC and HSE plans.

- Resolve technical and interdepartmental issues; serve as escalation point for delays, disputes, and resource conflicts, per the Escalation Matrix.

- Lead kickoff, planning, and escalation meetings with internal departments, clients, and subcontractors.

- Track progress in Asana and hold department SPOCs accountable.

- Approve scope changes affecting schedule and budget; manage risk mitigation.

- Enforce document control, SharePoint usage, and change management.

- Review handover reports, client feedback, and lessons learned.

- Present project performance to senior management in monthly reviews.

Requirements:

- BSc in Mechanical, Process (or equivalent); PMP or equivalent is a plus.

- 8+ years delivering EPC, MEP, or oil and gas projects, ideally in power generation, pumping, or process skids.

- Hands-on knowledge of gas and diesel genset packages, synchronization and backup systems, power cabling, pumps, skids, piping, and instrumentation (P&IDs, hydraulics, controls).

- Strong command of schedules, budgets, risk, and contract/scope change management.
