As Senior Account Manager, you will manage and grow strategic Energy and Utilities accounts within KSA. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with energy leaders to reshape the industry. You will report to the KSA Leadership and collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to deliver on bold growth ambitions. This role is based in Riyadh, KSA with travel required to key customer sites.
Key job responsibilities
. Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships with strategic energy accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
. Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers most complex business and technical challenges.
. Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
. Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
. Represent AWS at industry events and evangelize our innovation across the Energy industry.
Basic Qualifications :
- Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
- 10+ years of sales experience
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers
- 10+ years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience
- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Deep understanding of cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with either solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at enterprise customers
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams
- Established network in Energy and Utilities sector within KSA.
