Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Purchasing Specialist oversees critical purchasing operations, ensures supplier compliance, and optimizes purchasing processes to align with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all duties of a Purchasing Specialist with additional responsibility for complex or high-value purchases.
Analyze supplier performance data to ensure quality and efficiency in material procurement.
Supervise tracking of PO milestones to mitigate potential delays.
Provide Supplier delivery plan and ensuring its adherence to the PO milestones and delivery timeline.
Manage high-risk purchasing activities, including FAT coordination and inspections.
Review supplier payment memos based on contractual milestones and delivery verification.
Work closely with Project Managers to streamline material shipping release approvals.
Support logistics coordination and resolve purchasing-related issues.
Provide training and guidance to junior purchasing staff.
