Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Qesm El Agoza, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for complex telecom and IT solutions. Day-to-day tasks include creating and executing test cases, performing manual and automated testing, analyzing defects, and validating software quality across releases. The engineer collaborates with developers, business analysts, and project managers to refine requirements, improve test coverage, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior QA team members, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, and supporting integration and regression testing activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a focus on end-to-end test planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and optimizing Test Cases, including functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including exploratory testing and detailed defect reporting.
  • Advanced skills in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts.
  • Experience with common test automation tools and languages (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Java, C#, or Python).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to integrate automated tests into delivery workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, international teams.
  • Prior experience in telecom, networking, or large-scale enterprise systems is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
