We are looking for new colleagues to join our fast-growing Simon-Kucher Engine team as (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer!

How you will create an impact

• Ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions to our customers
• Ensuring quality from beginning by reviewing software requirements
• Defining a test strategy for our solutions and implement this strategy together with the product and engineering team
• Helping the engineering team in identify, reproducing and solving quality issues
• Preparation of test reports

About you

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related field
• > 4 years of working experience in software quality assurance and academic degree in computer science or similar domain
• Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools and agile principles
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases
• Test automation experience using respective tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, JMeter)
• Experience with databases and writing SQL queries is preferred.
• Familiar with JIRA or other similar platforms
• Capable of running functional tests whether manual or automated
• Capable of running non-functional tests like performance and security
• ISTQB certificate is preferred
• Professional level written and spoken English, German is a plus
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to think outside the box
