We're Hiring: Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil) – Luxury Villa Projects
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our team for prestigious luxury villa developments in Dubai. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of quality management systems, oversee all QA/QC activities, and ensure that construction works are executed in full compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop, review, and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, quality procedures, and project quality plans.
- Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, ensuring effective implementation of quality control procedures across all project phases.
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
- Monitor civil, structural, architectural, waterproofing, and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Manage Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6–12 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in luxury villa projects
- Strong experience in structural, architectural, and high-end finishing works.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and construction quality procedures.
- Extensive experience with QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, WIRs, IRs, NCRs, and quality audits.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE building codes, and international construction standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; experience with Aconex, Procore, or similar document management systems is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage quality activities across multiple work fronts.
