Objective
Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring that our Financial products meet the highest quality standards through the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.
- Developing and maintaining quality metrics to track and report on the effectiveness of quality control processes and procedures.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent a recurrence.
- Participating in new product development projects to ensure that quality control requirements are incorporated into the design and development process
- Executing assigned test cases and cross-testing on other stories, Logs issues, tracking them until closure, and Reporting test execution status to Principle/Lead.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality control and incorporating them into the company's quality control processes and procedures.
- Periodically report project status to Tech lead/ principal.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as Senior Quality Control Engineer and preferably has experience in the financial sector.
- Solid understanding of software development & testing process, and best practices.
- Working with test management tools.
- Proficiency in test design.
- SQL Scripting Experience.
- Understanding of planning-Monitor-Control and testing strategy techniques.
- Proficiency in software testing types & techniques.
- Proficiency in API testing.
- Strong test reporting
- Knowledge in at least one of the following:
- Automation
- Performance
- Security
