Senior QC Engineer - Mechanical
We are looking for an experienced Senior QC Engineer – Mechanical to join a leading EPC organization delivering large-scale oil & gas projects. This role is critical in ensuring mechanical works are executed in full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Your Role
As a Senior QC Engineer, you will:
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical disciplines.
- Oversee quality control activities for static & rotating equipment, piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, tanks, and associated systems.
- Conduct inspections during fabrication, installation, erection, and pre-commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review and approve method statements, WPS/PQRs, material submittals, MIRs, and inspection reports.
- Lead and participate in internal, client, and third-party inspections and audits.
- Identify, issue, and close NCRs, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and client-specific standards.
- Prepare quality reports and provide regular updates to project and QA/QC management.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC Mechanical roles within EPC oil & gas projects.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise: Strong experience in Piping systems & welding inspections, Static & rotating equipment, Pressure testing & mechanical completion. Hands-on knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO) Excellent reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
