Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plan, ITPs, checklists and quality records for architectural works.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, material approvals and project requirements.
Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical submissions.
Inspect architectural and finishing works including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing interfaces, tiling, flooring, ceilings, doors, joinery, painting, cladding and façade works.
Raise, monitor and close NCRs and ensure proper root-cause analysis, corrective actions and prevention of recurring quality issues.
Monitor WIRs/IRs, material inspections, snagging/de-snagging and handover activities.
Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP and other disciplines and resolve quality-related interface issues.
Monitor approved materials, drawings and latest revisions being used at site.
Maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records and quality documentation and support internal/external quality audits.
Monitor quality performance, recurring deficiencies and quality KPIs and proactively identify issues before they cause rework or delay.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 10 years total experience, with at least 5–7 years directly in QA/QC, including significant architectural and finishing works experience.
Proven experience on major building / mixed-use projects in the UAE or GCC.
Previous consultant-side supervision / QA/QC experience is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, construction materials, inspection procedures, UAE requirements and applicable international standards.
Practical experience with QA/QC Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, WIRs/IRs, material inspections and quality reporting.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Ability to review architectural drawings, shop drawings and technical documents and provide clear technical comments.
Familiarity with Aconex or similar EDMS/document management systems.
Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
