Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: United Arab Emirates
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction and project management team
In this role, you'll assist with cost management, quantity surveying, contract administration, project cost control, and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your quantity surveying expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets
Monitor project costs, expenditures, and financial performance
Prepare, review, and evaluate quotations, tenders, and subcontractor proposals
Assist with contract administration and commercial management
Measure and value construction works and variations
Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
Monitor project variations, claims, and potential cost impacts
Conduct cost analysis and provide regular commercial reports
Maintain accurate quantity surveying and project documentation
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
Support senior management with cost control and commercial decision-making
Ensure projects remain within approved budgets and contractual requirements
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Good numerical, analytical, and commercial abilities
Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and quantity surveying principles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsible, reliable, and commercially minded
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial construction is a plus
Familiarity with construction contracts, cost estimation, tendering, and project management procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying or construction management software
