Senior Quantity Surveyor (Chartered)

I'm currently recruiting for an established international engineering consultancy looking to appoint several Senior Quantity Surveyorsto support their growing team in KSA.

This is a strong opportunity for experienced consultancy QS professionals who are comfortable managing both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities across a varied portfolio of projects in Saudi Arabia.

The role will involve:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates from feasibility through to tender stage
• Producing accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities
• Reviewing drawings and specifications
• Value engineering and design economics
• Tender documentation and procurement support
• Contract administration
• Variations, EOTs and commercial assessments
• Bank guarantees, insurances and contractual correspondence
• Working across FIDIC, JCT and similar contract frameworks
• Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors

Key Requirements:

• 10–12+ years Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong background within an architectural, engineering or cost consultancy
• GCC experience preferred
• Excellent hands on quantity take-off and measurement capability
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge
• RICS / MRICS / AssocRICS or AIQS would be a major advantage
• Degree background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline

The successful candidates will work across a broad range of developments including residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial and high-rise projects.

The client is particularly interested in QS professionals who remain technically hands-on and can confidently take ownership of assignments rather than purely operating at management level.
