We are seeking an experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our project team and support the successful delivery of road and infrastructure projects across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both pre-tender and post-contract stages, with solid knowledge in quantity measurement, BOQ preparation, variations, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Tender Stage
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare tender documents and technical submissions.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Assist in tender evaluation and clarifications.
Post-Contract Stage
- Prepare and verify site measurements and work quantities.
- Evaluate and prepare variations, change orders, and claims.
- Review subcontractor measurements and submissions.
- Maintain records of approved quantities and variations.
- Support in preparing interim and final measurements.
- Assist in contract administration and documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and consultants.
- Conduct site inspections to verify executed works.
General Duties
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract conditions.
- Maintain accurate and organized project records.
- Attend project meetings when required.
- Support project teams in resolving quantity-related issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Attested degree certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in road and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in pre-tender and post-contract QS activities.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement standards, and variations.
- Good understanding of construction contracts and documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work across project sites.
- Applicants must be currently based in the UAE.
- Arabic language is preferred.
