Job Description
China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is hiring Senior Quantity Surveyor (Snr. QS) with strong main contractor infrastructure projects experiences in the UAE/Middle East to support the Contracts Team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and close complex Upstream (Client) and Downstream (Subcontractor) final accounts.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs), Extension of Time (EOT) claims, contra-charges, and other commercial claims.
- Prepare contractual notices, claim submissions, substantiation, and supporting documentation. Manage payments, valuations, cost control, forecasting, and final accounts.
- Independently close complex Upstream (Client) and Downstream (Subcontractor) final accounts, including VOs, EOT, and contra-charges.
- Proven experience handling variations, claims, EOT, disruption, prolongation, and final accounts.
- Strong ability to prepare, substantiate, negotiate, and manage contractual and commercial claims.
- Experience with subcontract administration, subcontractor claims, payments, and final accounts. Responsible for cost control, budget monitoring, forecasting, interim payments, and commercial reporting.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Contract and Commercial Management.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract administration and claims management.
- UAE/GCC main contractor infrastructure experiencerequired.
- Professional chartered status (certificates like MRICS, MAIQS) is highly preferred.
