We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) with a strong background in managing high-value construction projects. The candidate must demonstrate solid commercial acumen, contractual expertise, and the ability to lead cost management functions across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all quantity surveying and cost management activities from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
- Manage high-value construction projects, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and contract documentation.
- Administer contracts, including variation management, claims review, and final account settlement.
- Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Provide commercial advice and risk assessment to project teams.
- Support procurement strategy and tender evaluation processes.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Proven experience managing high-value construction projects.
- At least 23 years of consultancy experience (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of contract forms (FIDIC preferred).
- Excellent cost control and financial management skills.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and project leadership capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- MRICS is preferred.
