Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) with a strong background in managing high-value construction projects. The candidate must demonstrate solid commercial acumen, contractual expertise, and the ability to lead cost management functions across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all quantity surveying and cost management activities from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
  • Manage high-value construction projects, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and contract documentation.
  • Administer contracts, including variation management, claims review, and final account settlement.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide commercial advice and risk assessment to project teams.
  • Support procurement strategy and tender evaluation processes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
  • Proven experience managing high-value construction projects.
  • At least 23 years of consultancy experience (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of contract forms (FIDIC preferred).
  • Excellent cost control and financial management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and project leadership capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • MRICS is preferred.
