We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QS Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in cost management, contract administration, and project financial control, and who can contribute strategically across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects
- Manage project costs, including monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to project costs
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on financial matters
- Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred)
- Proven experience in cost planning, contract administration, and claims management
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Primavera, Excel)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage
