Job Description
Summary
Provides all necessary support to the construction supervision team concerning all financial aspects and contractual matters in the project. Responsible for the review and approval of interim payments, project variations and other financial matters.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Responsible for project finances and contractual relationships with construction companies, checks and processes change orders and project extensions.
2. Manages the costs of raw materials and construction projects to ensure they are within the budget and verifies contractor payments by measurement of actual quantities on site.
3. Leads the evaluation and recommendation of entitlement of Contractors claims, including presentation and agreement of recommendations to the Contracts Services Department of Client/ companies.
4. Ensures completeness and validity of all contractual requirements and creates the ultimate construction proposal paperwork for large-scale ventures.
5. Prepares monthly and annual department statistical/financial reports.
6. Monitors construction activities periodically through pictorial reports.
7. Arranges comparative tabulations of all bids received to assist the Hospital s Bid Evaluation Committees.
8. Maintains the cost data of all construction projects.
Education
Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or other related discipline is required.
Experience Required
Three (3) years of related experience with Master s Degree or Five (5) years with Bachelor s Degree is required.
Other Requirements(Certificates)
-Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.
-Non-Saudi Engineers must obtain minimum of five (5) years of related experience
