Senior Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) - Oil And Gas Contractor

Employment:Full Time

Required to join an international contractor in Qatar working on the construction of oil & gas facilities, The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of quantities take-off for all mechanical work in an LNG Plant Project. This includes quantity take-off for piping, equipment, NDT works, insulation, steel work, etc. Ensuring the proper application of the applicable Method of Measurement (MOM). Studying Contract specifications and procedures and identifying additional work not accounted for in the BOQ and MOM. Rating new items and varied work. Negotiating and agreeing final measurement with the Client.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 10 + years experience of working as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor on large scale oil and gas construction projects
• Excellent IT skills - capable of using different software for quantity take-off.
• Fluent in English
