Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centres

A leading global consultancy, widely recognised for delivering complex projects across the built environment, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support its expanding portfolio of data centre developments.

This organisation has built a strong reputation for providing cost management, project management, and advisory services on high-value, technically demanding projects. With a significant presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, they are particularly known for their involvement in large-scale data centre, commercial, and infrastructure programmes, working with some of the world's most recognised clients.

The Role

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of major data centre projects, managing costs from pre-contract through to final account. This position offers exposure to fast-paced, high-value developments where accuracy, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepare and review tenders, contracts, and procurement strategies
• Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams and clients
• Ensure effective cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project success

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or contractor environment
• Strong background delivering data centre projects (essential)
• Solid understanding of contracts, procurement, and commercial management
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex projects
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
