Seeking visionary leaders with Range, Trials, or Test Operations expertise

The Senior Range Manager leads and coordinates all range activities across the Range estate. The Capability Manager is an intrinsically motivated leader with exceptional business development skills. This leader has a strong understanding of ITEA test operations for Land, Maritime, Air, EW and Instrumentation testing. A well-demonstrated track of management analysis and planning techniques are essential to being successful in this role.

As an executive leader, the Senior Range Manager strengthens the company by interfacing with customers, supporting business development, scheduling, allocating resources, managing daily operations, training staff and performing operational administrative duties. A successful Senior Range Manager is the company focal point for growing the business, attracting and retaining customers, and strategizing operational goals for organizational enhancements.

Lead and coordinate all activities across the Range estate, ensuring smooth operational delivery.

Ensure compliance with UAE MOD safety regulations and international range safety standards; maintain safe arrangements for all range operations.

Oversee and manage the three core range functions:

• Operations Team (trial planning, scheduling, deconfliction, RCO oversight)
• Technical Services (equipment operation, maintenance, technical readiness)
• Logistical Services (range control, safety, security, logistics, housekeeping)

Ensure all trials are planned, deconflicted, and executed according to approved test plans.

Guarantee trial zones are prepared and equipped to receive customers on schedule.

Conduct and oversee risk assessments for all activities, and escalate medium/highrisk trials to leadership.

Lead range staff training, ensuring all employees and visitors are briefed on safe conduct and procedures.

Maintain effective contractor and subcontractor management across the range.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder communication, including government authorities, MOD bodies, and clients.

Submit regular operational, safety, and compliance reports (HSE, MOD, quality, progress).

Support business development, identifying client needs and advising on opportunities and risks.
