Senior Legal Counsel Real Estate

We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join our client on a 6 month in-house secondment based in Dubai. This role will support large-scale residential and commercial projects across the Emirates and requires hands-on legal expertise in real estate matters.

You will advise internal stakeholders on a broad range of real estate matters, including land acquisition, sales and purchases, leasing (commercial and residential), strata and co-ownership structuring, off-plan developments, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

510 years PQE, admitted in a common law or regional jurisdiction.

Strong UAE or GCC experience in real estate law, including transactional and advisory work.

Familiarity with real estate contracts such as SPAs, lease agreements, MOUs, and off-plan sale structures.

Experience interacting with UAE authorities such as DLD, RERA, Dubai Municipality, and other relevant regulators.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and provide commercially focused legal advice.

Previous in-house experience with real estate developers or investment entities preferred.
