We are scaling our Centralized Global Compliance team and looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor to join our global team. Reporting directly to our Regulatory Compliance
Unit Lead, you will help shape compliance frameworks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Our Centralized Global Compliance department is recently established. This role involves a healthy dose of startup-style ambiguity, shifting priorities, and building frameworks from scratch. We need a hands-on builder comfortable with a fast-moving culture rather than structured, legacy corporate workflows.
This isn't just a box-ticking role—you will support engagement with regulators such as the Mauritius FSC and Seychelles FSA , extending across multiple offshore jurisdictions. You will act as a critical bridge between centralized operations and local compliance representatives or management companies.
What You'll Do
- The Offshore Architect: Support and oversee compliance activities across offshore licensed entities and regulatory jurisdictions, including Mauritius (FSC) and Seychelles (FSA).
- Regulatory Liaison: Manage day-to-day engagement with regulators, working closely with local Compliance Officers and management companies to handle inquiries, inspections, and filings.
- Strategic Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures tailored to offshore regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct compliance reviews and thematic assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Global Collaboration: Act as the key coordination point to align local regulatory expectations with the firm's global compliance framework.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks associated with offshore licensed entities to ensure operational effectiveness.
What You Bring
- The Right Background: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services compliance, specifically within CFD brokerages, fintech, payments, or specialized compliance consultancies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Direct experience with offshore regulatory frameworks and multi-jurisdiction licensing models. Knowledge of FSC Mauritius is highly desirable.
- The Mindset: A proactive, builder mentality. You understand how to manage compliance risks while maintaining the agility needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English to clearly articulate complex compliance issues to global teams and regulators. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Credentials: Minimum bachelor's degree. Relevant certifications (e.g., ICA, CAMS, CRCM) are highly valued.
Why Join Us
- Global Exposure: Gain direct experience managing multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance across offshore and international markets.
- Real Impact: Join a recently established department where you have the ownership and visibility to shape compliance frameworks from the ground up.
- Strategic Visibility: Work in a fast-moving environment where compliance is treated as a strategic business partner, collaborating directly with legal, product, and senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage closely with global teams, external consultants, local representatives, and diverse internal stakeholders.
