We're seeking aSenior Research & Development Specialistto lead and manage the R&D department. This roleis responsible foroverseeing the full R&D lifecyclefrom research and feasibility analysis to development, execution, and final delivery. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure project efficiency, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, market-relevant textile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and oversee theResearch & Development department, ensuring alignment with company strategy and timelines.
- Plan and manage theR&D roadmap, setting priorities, KPI's, and project timelines.
- Assign tasks to R&D team members andmonitorprogress, performance, and quality of output.
- Overseeend-to-end R&D projects, from initial research and concept development through sampling, testing, and final development.
- Prepare and evaluatefeasibility studies and reports, including cost analysis, material sourcing, production capabilities, and timelines.
- Plan, manage, and control theR&D budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate closely withdesign,finance,operation, andsupply chainteamsto ensure feasibility and scalability of new developments.
- Review and approve research findings, technical specifications, materials, and development outcomes.
- Identifyopportunities forinnovation, new materials, process improvements, and sustainable solutions.
- Track project risks and proactively propose solutions to ensuretimelyproject completion.
