An international engineering consultancy require a Resident Engineer to oversee a major buildings project in AL Dhafra Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
- Review technical submissions, drawings, and method statements
- Monitor progress, quality control, and contractor performance
- Prepare site reports and support project delivery milestones
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience working on complex building construction projects in the Gulf ie luxury hotels, mixed use commercial projects etc
- Minimum of 12 years postgraduate experience
- Strong knowledge of local authority standards, regulations, and construction practices
- Demonstrated leadership in managing contractors, consultants, and site teams
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Fluent in Arabic
- Demonstrate strong technical, site supervision, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
