We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer / Project Manager to oversee site-based construction and supervision for major building and residential villa projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-rise buildings, luxury villas, and large-scale residential developments from review through to handover, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall site supervision for building and villa construction projects in compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Serve as the client's primary point of contact for project progress, technical coordination, and issue resolution.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of multidisciplinary site teams, including engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to design drawings, safety regulations, and quality standards on-site.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, materials, and progress reports.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders and prepare comprehensive project status reports.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and local authority regulations.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure effective project control and communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 57 years in the UAE on building construction projects.
- Proven track record as a Senior Resident Engineer or Project Manager on residential towers, villas, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, project management practices, and QA/QC procedures.
- Familiar with Dubai Municipality, and local authority regulations.
