About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Retail Construction Expert to lead AVATR's physical store expansion across the Middle East and Africa. In this role, you will bridge the gap between brand aesthetics and engineering reality, ensuring our stores not only meet global brand standards but are also perfectly adapted to local climates and consumer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Planning & Standard Setting
- Formulate store construction standards and specifications tailored for the MEA market.
- Develop specialized construction requirements addressing local climate challenges (e.g., high temperatures, sand, and dust).
- Design store imagery and experience spaces that strictly align with the premium tone of the AVATR brand.
New Store Project Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of new store projects, from site selection and design to construction execution.
- Coordinate effectively with local design teams, construction units, and supplier resources.
- Monitor project progress and quality rigorously to ensure timely and high-standard delivery.
Store Acceptance & Opening Support
- Establish comprehensive store acceptance standards and checklists.
- Lead the final inspection of completed stores to ensure compliance with both brand standards and local regulations.
- Provide pre-opening support, including staff training coordination and material preparation.
Operation Standards Supervision
- Establish a regular inspection mechanism and evaluation system for store operations.
- Supervise dealers to ensure strict adherence to store management standards.
- Conduct irregular on-site inspections to maintain consistent operational quality.
Localization Adaptation & Optimization
- Optimize store layouts and experience designs based on MEA consumer preferences.
- Formulate maintenance standards for special equipment suited to local high-temperature environments.
- Optimize after-sales service area configurations to better meet local customer needs.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Engineering Management, Marketing, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in retail store construction or project management.
- Proven experience in automotive 4S dealership or premium brand experience store construction.
Professional Capabilities
- Deep understanding of the full retail store construction process and construction management.
- Mastery of store design principles and brand image standards.
- Strong project management and cost control capabilities.
- Familiarity with construction project acceptance standards and processes.
Regional Capabilities
- Fluent in English, capable of conducting technical engineering and business communications.
- Understanding of MEA construction regulations and building codes.
- Familiarity with the local building materials market and supplier landscape.
- Willingness to adapt to long-term, project-based business travel.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software for reviewing construction drawings.
- Mastery of project management tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of equipment and system requirements related to store operations.
