The role manages the end-to-end implementation of Reward associated programmes at CBD by working closely with Head of PROPs, Head of HR and Emiratization and Head of Talent Acquisition
The role also provides a vital, tactical and developmental support in the Reward activities, Recognition management and Performance Management processes and systems
Manage and lead a team which provides analytical and other support related to Performance, Reward and Recognition activities
Principal Accountabilities
Benchmark with banking industry to ensure competitiveness of the Reward programs, including survey participation with leading survey providers. Build networks with HR consultants and HR Management in other banks in the region so as to share data and seek clarification on practices. Conduct own surveys and participates in surveys conducted by other banks.
Manages the staff cost budget and ensure that staff cost is tracked closely against approved budgets. Prepare staff cost forecasts from time to time for HRC & REMCO reviews. Work closely with the Head of PROPs, People Strategy, Talent Acquisition and Group Heads to realize efficiencies from organization structure reviews
Provides governance on the Org. Design processes, including job catalogue and position management, to ensure jobs and positions are methodically structured at CBD
Manages the Job Evaluation process for the Bank and is the custodian of JDs across the Bank
Participates in the design the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) and ensure the implementation governance. Review all short-term Bank-wide sales incentive plans and make recommendations for any changes in the design of the plans.
Review and recommend the salary package for new hires for the outside pre-approved ranges and unbudgeted roles
Works closely with the Head of PROPs in designing proposals for changes in Reward programs. Also develop the proposals for the Bank-wide Increments and Promotions, Annual Bonus, Retention Plan proposals, etc.
Manages the end-to-end implementation of Increments and Promotions, Bonus modelling and other rewards related processes. Also ensure the accuracy of the benefits payment calculations, in line with the Bank-wide promotions or Bank-wide annual payout
Works with the Head of HR and Emiratization to ensure that the Bank's Emiratization strategy is followed in all the functions
Act as a change agent in the implementation of the right technological platforms for strengthening the Performance Management system and process
Drive and manage the development and implementation of the Bank-wide Performance Management System
Establish key matrices to define the competencies and skills required for each roles within the Bank along with the individual performance mapping to set-up the KPI framework
Ensures the performance management cycles are conducted in a timely and effective manner
Supports towards ad hoc HR projects as and when required as well as being the HR key person on a number of business led projects
Manage the end-to-end activities of Bank's recognition programs, including the design, policy, process, approvals and communication. This includes periodical review of the program, efficiency and streamline the processes
Requirements:
Qualifications
Master's Degree or equivalent. Advanced professional certification (e.g., CCP, GRP, etc.) is desirable.
Overall 8+ years of experience in Human Resources function with a good understanding of all areas across HR and the Bank
Good stakeholder management, inter-personal and communication skills
Advanced MS office skills, especially MS Excel and Power BI
