Senior Roller (Steel Industries)

Must Have Steel Industry Experience.

Position: Sr. Roller

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Diploma

Any preferred professional training

Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering.

Basics of roll pass design.

Professional Experience (Must haves)

Minimum of 8 years experience as Roller Operator in a long product rolling mil.

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

Work experience in high speed block mill operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain rollers to compact soil, gravel, concrete, and asphalt on construction sites

- Inspect equipment before and after use and report any malfunctions or damages to the supervisor

- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the roller, following all safety protocols and procedures

- Communicate with other team members to coordinate and execute tasks effectively

- Keep accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance

- Assist in training and mentoring junior rollers and other team members

- Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times
