We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to lead our Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) programs while ensuring the safe and efficient management of our transportation services.
Core Purpose:
To ensure the effective implementation of HSSE programs and the safe management of transportation services, enhancing compliance, operational excellence, and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
HSSE Program Management:
- Implement and monitor HSSE policies, inspections, and risk assessments in line with local and international standards
- Lead incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action implementation
- Develop and deliver HSSE training programs to promote a proactive safety culture
Transportation & Fleet Safety:
- Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring safety compliance and cost efficiency
- Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and vehicle allocations
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs
- Manage vendor relationships for transportation services
Compliance & Support:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GACA, SBC, NFPA)
- Support facilities management in emergency preparedness and safety improvements
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HSSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Expertise in fleet and transportation management
- Risk management and incident investigation skills
- Vendor and contract management experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with focus on compliance
