Role Overview
Seeking an experienced HVAC Sales professional with strong distribution expertise in AC units, DX systems and spare parts, established networks with consultants and contractors and the ability to drive vendor registrations and develop successful product distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development initiatives, leveraging proven experience in both areas to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate qualified enquiries for HVAC products and systems.
- Prepare competitive quotations and technical proposals.
- Identify and probe future product and system requirements of clients within targeted market segments.
- Negotiate pricing, specifications, delivery timelines and terms to secure orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and MEP contractors.
- Provide market intelligence and recommend new products/solutions.
- Prepare timely and accurate sales reports.
- Manage and execute the vendor registration process to ensure timely approvals and compliance with client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage and optimize product distribution while introducing new brands and products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development preferably both.
- Experience in HVAC products including AC units, DX systems & spare parts.
- Demonstrated experience in product distribution with the ability to develop, secure and expand distribution channels for new brands
- Strong technical knowledge, negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Experience in preparing proposals/presentations for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven relationship-building and networking skills.
- Commercial and contractual acumen.
- Market intelligence and technical expertise in HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
