Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Badr, responsible for driving technical sales and supporting industrial clients throughout the sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying customer needs, preparing and delivering technical presentations, and recommending solutions that align with client requirements and project specifications. The role involves collaborating with internal engineering and product teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical documentation. The Senior Sales Engineer will visit customer sites, provide pre- and post-sales technical support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This position also includes maintaining an active opportunities pipeline, contributing to market analysis, and supporting the continuous improvement of sales processes and technical offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Sales Engineering, with the ability to translate technical features into clear value propositions and practical solutions for industrial clients.
  • Proficiency in providing Technical Support, including troubleshooting, product configuration, and on-site technical guidance.
  • Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, negotiations, and closing deals in industrial or B2B environments.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, process industries, or related fields.
  • Ability to work on-site in Badr, conduct regular client visits, and travel within the region as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (or similar) for reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
  • Fluency in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
